A German Conspiracy

Do you see it?
Still dont see it?
*Drumroll* It appears that in addition to being a sleepover with the boys, the term Manover is also associated with locations in Nazi Germany

Player Ratings: Epic FC vs Sexii Skillz (Fags)

Joe (GK)- 6.5- Not the best game we've seen from the acrobatic shot-stopper so far but could be relied upon to make decent saves and shot-stops. Was unlucky to have a shaky defence in front of him when a solid one was needed the most.

Wong (DF)- 6.5- Did well to disrupt the attack of more experienced opposition (faggots) but was drawn into the man in possesion a number of times which led to conceding of goals. With that being said, still a solid performer in the team.

Conrad (DF/FW)-6.5- Decent defending against a side with experience and faggotry. Refused to get nutmegged and did well to slow the play down of the opposition. However, should make more of an effort to dictate the defence and influence the offence.

Emerson (DF/FW)-6.0- Unfortunate game for the player, just as it seemed he would settle into the game, was injured whilst blocking a shot. For the time he did play, he provided a decent defence but was drawn into the man with possesion too often.

Jordan (FW)-6.5- Provided ample attacking opportunities but lacked the predatory instinct to finish. Did well to track back a couple of times. More communication needed with strike partner

Blaise (FW)-6.5- A hardworker who was unlucky not to get a goal. Failed to really shift his game into top gear. More communication needed with strike partner

Overall, a game Epic FC would like to forget. Pointers for the next game include more communication, defenders helping more in attack whilst attackers helping more in defence.

I believe that instead of having two in attack, the team should employ a MF which would pivot the play from defence to attack. Additionally, would be interesting to take up Tom's advice and having the defenders switch sides to disrupt the attack.

By the way, if you haven't picked this up already, the opposition were complete faggots who were not only diving cheaters but also whiny little shits. This were probably due to their Chavness.

Match Preview Epic FC vs Sexy Skillz

After exerting an absolute thumping of the Uncos in the previous match, Epic FC will be looking to reproduce the type of performance last week. Joe (GK) will be anxious to claim back-to-back clean sheets. Matt Wong will be wanting to extend his scoring run to 3 in 3 games whilst maintaining defensive stability. Conrad will hope to open his scoring campaign this week after failing to score in previous matches. Jordan would be looking to add to his debut goal last week. Emerson and Blaise will both hope to add to a tally of 4 and 5 goals respectively.

All in all, Epic FC will be wanting to pick up all 3 points this week after a sensational previous matchday. Prediction: If Sexy Skillz arent what they are hyped up to be; Epic FC 6-2 Sexy Skillz

Cool Song

Cool song by an unexpected band; I never thought I would live till the day AFI made a decent track...but I did. The songs called Medicate and although its not as heavy as i would like, there is an awesome solo with tapping at the end.

Check it out!

BTW, heres then and now pics of them; at least the've improved their look

McAwesome Album

The debut post for a series of McAwesome Albums I recommend you should listen to.

Album: Parachutes

Artist: Coldplay

A good album you should listen to especially when you're feeling a tad of slow-motioness. The track 'Don't Panic' is a good example of accompanying the slow-motion

Epic FC vs The Uncos: Player Ratings

Joe (GK)- 9.0- Collected his first clean sheet of the season. Was hardly called into action but dealt with what little trouble splendidly. With the addition of flawless throw ins, it would be safe to say he had a perfect game.

Wong (DF)- 9.0- A large factor in attaining the clean sheet. Did very well to organise the defence. Very little got past the solid defender. Has now scored in consecutive matches which makes 2 for the season.

Conrad (DF/FW)-8.5- Good game for the utility player, provided plenty of options in attack but also solid defending. Chipped in with a couple of assists, however was unable to finish in front of goals.

Emerson (Df/FW)-9.5- Breathtaking play from defender/striker, was frankly the story of the first half notching up 4 goals in a period of ten minutes including a well placed shot through the keepers legs. Was able to follow up the great first half with an excellent display at the back in the second half.

Jordan (FW) -9.0- Great game for the forward, providing several balls to his partnering striker, even notching up his debut goal with a well placed shot into the bottom corner. Performed well when called into defence.

Blaise (FW)- 9.5- Fantastic display by the well-built striker, a great follow up to his debut. Shared the scoring accolades with 4 goals of his own. Was hardworking in attack closing down on all loose balls. Could've had at least 4 more goals if it weren't for the width of the cross bar and posts.

Man of the Match: With 8 goals between them it would be a crime not to award the man of the match to both Emerson and Blaise. Keep up the good work!

Team Comment: Bounced back from defeat splendidly with a double digit scoring performance; must ensure the maintenance of this from for the rest of the season.

Match Preview: Epic FC vs The Uncos

October 16 will mark the second game of the season by a new look Epic FC. The team would certainly look to build on a game from which plenty of positives were taken. Emerson and Jordan will want to improve on a decent debut which revealed several promising signs of success. These signs include speed and hard-work. Blaise Walker, another debutee from last week, and Matthew Wong would seek to maintain the great form achieved in the first game of the season. Defender Conrad Loo, and 'keeper Joe Blay will be looking to emulate the form achieved in the semi-final of last season. Overall, Epic FC will go into the second match knowing that they have a real chance of achieving a result.

Match Prediction: Epic FC 3- 3 The Uncos

Commenting on a football article

Basically a football article on who would win between Brazil and Spain, then i noticed this comment:

Woah...Tom from Belgium, I never knew the Brazil International Football Team boasted enough skill at a 1st-person-shooter game to beat Spain

When I'm feeling philosophical...

Why is it that Batman and Robin have chestplates with nipples? I mean seriously, are their nipples so hard that extra dents in the armour are required to conpensate? Ifso it also means that Batman and Robin are gay partners that are really into role-playing.

Seriously... look

Player Ratings

In addition to Joe's in depth analysis of Epic FC's first game of the summer indoor football season, I have decided to include player ratings (out of 10) and its respective comments:

Joe (GK)-7.0- Despite conceding 5 goals, was able to pull off plenty of stops and saves to keep Epic FC in the game throughout the match. Much more decisive this season (compared to last season). Would've earned a better rating if it werent for some questionable throw-ins.

Wong (DF/MF)-7.5- Splendid performance by the defender, not letting much get past him, even chipping with his first goal ever. However, was subject to desperate defending after failure of tracking back by fellow team mates. Continues a great defensive partneship with Conrad.

Conrad (DF/MF)-6.5- Average showing by the pint-sized defender, due to the "twice-off" agreement meaning he was off the field for approx. 15mins. Was good in defence but lacked influence up-front.

Emerson (MF)-6.5- Decent debut by Epic FC's new recruit. Was able to provide good attacking options but lacked the defensive influence when needed the most. More match time would improve his game and inteligence on and off the ball.

Jordan (MF/FW)-6.5- Another decent debut by Epic FC's surprise recruit, after some transfer dramatics with the exit of forward, Kurtis Bruce. Provided ample attacking suport for Blaise, but lacked the finishing touch when provided with scoring opportunities. More match time would provide the room needed for his game to adapt to the game of Epic FC's.

Blaise (FW)-7.5- Blockbuster debut for the vertically unchallenged striker. Was closing down on loose balls, pressuring opposition into surrendering possesion. Unlucky not to get more goals as tremendous goalkeeping from the opposition prevailed. His performance should improve over the season as he adapts to new surroundings

Man of the match: A tie between Wong and Blaise.

Overall, the team displayed glimpses of a top-4 performance but was unable to be consistent through out the match.

Epic FC vs The Trojans

In the lead up to first game of the indoor football season on Oct. 9th, I have decided to provide the possible line up for the match against the Trojans:

Jordan
Conrad

Wongy/Emerson Blaise
