Resigned to the fact that only a Wigan miracle will allow for Man United to claim a record breaking 19th English title. Chelsea more or less have the title in the bag. Looking back on a roller-coaster season, United have done very well considering the loss of Ronaldo and Tevez, however, an over reliance on Rooney, the lack of center-backs half-way through the season, and an underperfoming Berbatov has ultimately cost United the title.
Things that could've turned out differently:
-If Nani maintained his recent form, right from the start to end
-If Berbatov did manage to adapt to United's style
-If Rooney wasn't injured in Munich
-If United managed to replace Tevez with Benzeema instead of Owen
-If Carrick carried on past-seasons' form
However, we can always look forward to next season:
-Hopefully, Glazers sell
-Hargreaves to maintain fitness
-Nani to finally maintain form for a whole season
-United youths to blossom next season
-United have won the EPL for the last three times, following the world cup (98-99, 02-03, 06-07)
